Gopher Men's Hockey Announces 2015-16 Big Ten Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The University of Minnesota men's hockey team announced its 20-game Big Ten Conference schedule for the 2015-16 season on Wednesday.
The Gophers, who have won two straight Big Ten regular season titles, open the league slate by hosting Ohio State Dec. 4-5 at Mariucci Arena. Minnesota will close out the first half of the league schedule at Michigan Dec. 11-12 in a rematch of last year's Big Ten Tournament title game.
The Gophers open their January 2016 schedule at Penn State Jan. 8-9, then return home to face Michigan State at Mariucci Arena Jan. 15-16. The Gophers final regular season home series is against Wisconsin on March 11-12.
The Big Ten Conference Tournament returns to Xcel Energy in St. Paul March 17-18.
