True Freshman Walk-On Named Starting Gopher Quarterback
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Gopher football fans now know who the team's starting quarterback will be when the season starts in just nine days.
True freshman walk-on Zack Annexstad won the job, beating out redshirt freshman Tanner Morgan.
Annexstad will be just the second true freshman walk-on to start Week 1 for a Power-5 conference team.
