Google's Online Safety Roadshow Stops By Hudson Middle School
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Some students in Wisconsin took a break from reading, writing and arithmetic for a lesson on internet safety.
On Thursday morning, Google's Online Safety Roadshow made a stop at Hudson Middle School in Wisconsin.
There, Google safety experts reminded students to think twice before they post information on the internet. They also shared tips on creating strong passwords -- like mixing letters and symbols.

They also encouraged students to spread positivity instead of negativity online and to double check their computer settings.
Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy brought the Google road show to Hudson Middle School.
Before getting into politics, he was a cast member on MTV's "The Real World." Now, there are some past experiences Duffy wishes he could forget that are still online Friday.
"Parents talk about safety online all the time, but we're not as cool," Duffy said. "So, when Google comes in and drives that same message, I think having a different messenger resonates better with the kids."
One of the main points the students learned: the Internet is like a tattoo. Once you post something online, it's hard to remove.
