Get Free Ice Cream In Downtown Minneapolis Tuesday
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You can get free ice cream today and help the Salvation Army at the same time.
Just head to Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, between 7th and 8th Streets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to get your free scoop of ice cream. That's where Kemps will be set up with Denali Flavors, the company that developed the "Moose Tracks" flavor of ice cream.
Kemps officials said they hope to give away 10,000 scoops. For each scoop served, $1 will go straight to the Salvation Army to support ongoing programs for children.
