George Pillsbury, Former Senator, Dies At 91
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- He was a philanthropist and long-time state senator -- Sunday morning people are remembering George Pillsbury.
He served in the Minnesota Senate from 1970 to 1982.
After serving as a marine in World War II, he became vice president of the Pillsbury Company.
Pillsbury suffered a stroke a few days ago, and passed away yesterday at his home in Wayzata.
He was 91 years old.
