GB Leighton To Headline Grandma's Marathon
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- It's a big weekend for rockers GB Leighton at Grandma's Marathon in Duluth this weekend.
Not only is GB Leighton returning to the marathon's Big Top Tent, the Twin Cities-based group will be inducted into Grandma's Marathon Hall of Fame.
GB Leighton will headline three sets, starting Friday night. The group is making its 15th appearance at Grandma's Marathon, after making their debut in 1996.
Also performing throughout the weekend is singer Alison Scott, who kicks off the shows Friday at 8 p.m. The Irresistibles featuring Mick Sterling also are appearing on the Grandma's Marathon stage.
Saturday's daytime lineup features a free show open to the public. The Friday and Saturday evening shows are for 21 and up.
