Gas Prices Remain Low Ahead of Thanksgiving
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- As people head home this week for Thanksgiving, there is one thing many are thankful for: Falling gas prices.
Officials with AAA say gas prices are dropping by a penny a day because of increased supply and lower demand. Nationally, drivers are paying around $2.14 per gallon.
We're seeing prices closer to $1.95 per gallon in the Twin Cities. That's 20 cents lower than just a month ago.
