Gamers Line Up At Best Buy For Wii U
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Gaming giant Nintendo is releasing its most-advanced system yet: Wii U. But some anxious gamers have been trying out the new console all night.
Best Buy stores across the metro had a midnight release.
The manager at the Richfield store told us they sold out of the consoles overnight. This is the second version of the Wii game in six years.
And it's not cheap -- we're told the game is selling for as much as $350.
"I have been planning and budgeting according to this for like five months now. I've been looking forward to this ever since it got announced," said Jake Colon, who was in line for the midnight release.
More interesting features about Wii U -- it can also serve as a TV remote.
