Fund Set Up For Boy Killed At Chiropractor Clinic
SHOREVIEW, Minn. (AP) -- A memorial fund has been set up to honor an 18-month-old boy crushed by equipment at a Shoreview chiropractic clinic.
Benjamin Bryan Newton died Thursday after the accident at First Chiropractic. Officials say the boy's mother was strapped to a therapy table when he crawled under it and hit a button. The table then lowered onto Benjamin, while his mother screamed for help.
Investigators say Benjamin's death was an accident and no charges are expected.
The website www.newtonfamilyfund.com contains information about the memorial fund, and how people can help the family.
Services for Benjamin will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills, with visitation starting at 5 p.m. at the church.
