Former Olympian Busted For Soliciting Prostitution
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- A former Olympian who is now running for parks commissioner in the west metro area was busted for soliciting a prostitute.
Police told the Pioneer Press that 43-year-old Matthew Laue was one of 10 men arrested last week in St. Paul.
Officers posted an ad on the website Backpage.com offering erotic services for money.
Laue was a member of the U.S. Olympic Nordic combined skiing team in 1992 and 1994.
He's currently running for one of the commissioner spots with the Three Rivers Park District board.
