Flynn Plans To Go To D-League Friday
DALLAS (AP) -- Minnesota point guard Jonny Flynn plans to report to the Timberwolves' development league affiliate in Sioux Falls, S.D., for a game on Friday as he works his way back from hip surgery.
Flynn has yet to play in a game this season. He had surgery on his left hip in July and has gradually started ramping up his workouts over the past few weeks.
The second-year point guard has been dealing with expected body soreness as the intensity has increased, but is eager to return to the court to help his young team, which lost 13 of its first 17 games heading into a game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.
