First Twin Cities Baby Born At Mercy Hospital
COON RAPIDS, Minn. (WCCO) – Officials announced Tuesday that Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids was the location for the first 2013 baby birth in the Twin Cities metro.
Christina and Jason Negus became the parents of a baby boy Negus, at about 12:18 a.m. Tuesday. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21.5 inches long.
Mercy Hospital is part of the Allina Health Group. The family is expected to meet with the media at about 2 p.m.
