Fire Damages Brooklyn Center House, None Injured
BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating after a fire caused significant damage to a house in Brooklyn Center early Sunday morning.
Fire crews responded to a report of a house fire on the 3600 block of 66th Avenue North in Brooklyn Center at about 1:15 a.m. When they arrived, officials said the fire was 99 percent on the exterior of the house around the deck and had spread some to the kitchen inside the home.
Authorities said between six and eight people were home at the time of the blaze. Everyone got out of the house safely and nobody was injured. The American Red Cross has been called in to assist the victims in the fire.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
