Fiery Semi Crash On I-94 Kills 1; Lanes Closed Near Rogers
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The State Patrol says one person is dead after a semi careened off Interstate 94 Wednesday morning and started on fire.
The crash happened shortly after 9:40 a.m. on the highway's westbound lanes near Rogers.
Officials said the driver of the semi, 65-year-old Edward Allen Riske, died of blunt force injuries.
Following the crash, Interstate 94 westbound was down to two lanes. Delays are to be expected.
