'Field Of Dreams' Opens In Brooklyn Park
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- A new type of ball field is opening up the game to people of all abilities.
It's being nicknamed the "Field of Dreams." For more than 35 years, wheelchair softball athletes have dreamed of having a field to fit their needs. That dream becomes a reality on Thursday.
Todd Anderson Field in Brooklyn Park is the first of its kind softball field developed specially for people with disabilities. People from the Courage Center in Golden Valley were there to break the field in Thursday morning.
