Feed My Starving Children Hosts NYE Meal Packing Event
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Feed My Starving Children is inviting Minnesotans to have a fun meaningful New Year's Eve by packing meals for malnourished children around the world.
From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, adults and children, ages 5 and older, will put together 216 MannaPack meals, complete with rice, soy nuggets, dehydrated vegetables and flavoring.
FMSC also asks for a $50 donation per volunteer, or $150 per household.
The money will go to cover the cost of creating the meals, which help feed a child for up to seven months.
For more information, or to register, visit Feed My Starving Children online.
If you can't make it to the meal packing event, but would still like to donate, The Niskas are hosting their debut concert on New Year's Eve at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville.
All ticket proceeds will go to Feed My Starving Children.
