Federal Murder Charges Filed In Red Lake Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Two fugitives face federal murder charges in connection with a fatal shooting on the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
A federal complaint filed in U.S. District Court charges both Donald Leigh Clark and Cruze Anthony White with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of assault with intent to commit murder. Clark was previously charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The charges stem from a shooting between two groups of men in Redby on Nov. 3. that killed 22-year-old Julian Keith Demarrias and injured two other men in Demarrias' vehicle.
The FBI in Minneapolis says the two men remain at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.
