FBI: Bloomington, Fargo Banks Robbed By Same Man

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis FBI is searching for a man accused of robbing a Bloomington bank and a Fargo bank, in the last three days.

Authorities say the U.S. Bank at 9633 Lyndale Ave. in Bloomington was robbed around 8:45 a.m. Monday. The robber allegedly entered the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding cash and received an undisclosed amount of cash.

He then fled from the bank on foot.

The robber is described as a white man, about 6-feet-tall and between the ages of 35 and 40. He weighed approximately 220 pounds and was wearing a black leather jacket, black T-shirt and blue jeans.

Police say he's also suspected for a bank robbery in Fargo, North Dakota that occurred on Dec. 31 at the Bank of the West.

Anyone with information about the Bloomington robbery is asked to call the FBI at (612) 376-3200 or the Bloomington Police Department.
