FBI: Armed Man Robs Bank In Richfield
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The FBI is investigating after an armed man robbed a bank in Richfield Friday morning.
The robbery happened at the First National Bank of the Lakes, located on the 6000 block of Penn Avenue, at 9:20 a.m. when a man entered the bank, showed a handgun and demanded cash from two bank tellers. After receiving the cash, the robber drove off in a white sedan south down Penn Avenue, police said.
Police described the robber as a nearly 6-foot-tall white male, possibly in his 30s, with a medium build, wearing a black mask, dark gloves, black jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
