"They display firearms. They don't mind pointing them at people. And in one of those bank robberies they actually carjacked a bank employee," he said.
The latest holdup was at the Anchor Bank in Plymouth on Thursday. The other robberies occurred in Anoka, Champlin, Plymouth and Roseville.
Warfield said the FBI has leads.
"We are hopeful. We're working on a couple of leads."
There's a reward of $100,000 for information leading to the suspects.
