Father Pleads Not Guilty After Baby Dies In Hot Minivan
MOORHEAD, Minn. (WCCO) -- A Moorhead father has pleaded not guilty in the death of his baby who was left in a hot minivan for several hours.
It was about 80 degrees outside the day Andrew Sandstrom left his 5-month-old daughter in her car seat last month.
Sandstrom says he forgot her after dropping his wife off for work. He also had his 5 other children with him at the time.
Those kids have been put in foster care.
Sandstrom faces second-degree manslaughter charges.
His trial is set for October.
