Fatal Crash Involving Semi Near Orono
ORONO, Minn. (WCCO) -- The State Patrol says there was a fatal crash along Highway 12 near Orono, Minn. Tuesday morning.
The State Patrol says it was a broadside collision involving a 1992 Honda Accord and a semi truck.
Authorities said the driver of the Honda was driving west on Highway 12.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, hit a wall and then crossed into oncoming traffic, where the vehicle crashed into a semi truck headed east.
The driver of the Honda -- 37-year-0ld Bruno Sagnweu of Oakdale -- was killed.
The 70-year-old driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.
Road conditions at the crash site were described by the State Patrol as wet.
