Farm Rescue Getting $200,000 Bremer Donation
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — The Farm Rescue organization is getting a large donation from the Otto Bremer Foundation and Bremer Bank.
The donations total $200,000 over two years and will be used for equipment, training and general operations.
The North Dakota-based Farm Rescue nonprofit provides planting and harvesting help free of charge to farm families stricken by a major illness, injury or disaster. Since 2006, the organization has helped more than 200 farm families in the Dakotas, Montana, Minnesota and Iowa.
