Man Who Escaped From Faribault Prison Taken Into Custody
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Faribault police have taken a man who escaped from a state prison Saturday morning into custody.
Police said 54-year-old Christian Klockerman escaped from the minimum custody unit of the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault just after 10:30 Saturday morning. He was serving a sentence for robbery.
Klockerman is 5-feet-10-inches tall, 185 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair. He was not considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Faribault police said Klockerman was taken into custody Saturday evening when a citizen called police after recognizing him. He was arrested in downtown Faribault.
