Fans Show Support For Adrian Peterson Ahead Of Game
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is playing Sunday at the Metrodome -- just days after his 2-year-old son died, an apparent victim of a brutal beating at the hands of another man.
Before Peterson hit the field, fans were showing their support for AP during this difficult time.
"The first time I heard it, I just couldn't believe it. It's just sad, you know, who would do something like that you know what I mean?," one fan said, going into the game.
Another called it a "wake-up" call to raise awareness about the problem of child abuse.
"Because it does happen all over, not just to one person," the fan said.
