Family, Friends Say Goodbye To Scott LeDoux
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Family and Friends gathered Wednesday to say goodbye to former heavyweight boxing great Scott LeDoux.
LeDoux died last week after a three-year battle with Lou Gehrig's disease.
After he retired from boxing he was elected an Anoka County commissioner.
A memorial service was held Wednesday at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis to honor the former boxing great.
During LeDoux's career he sparred with some of the biggest names in boxing like Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.
The family asked that memorials be given to the ALS Association. LeDoux was 62 years old.
