Excavator Breaks Through Bloomington Lake
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Crews are using big machinery to try to free some big machinery from a Twin Cities lake.
An excavator broke through the ice on Penn lake in Bloomington Wednesday morning.
Contractors for the city were trying to dig down to a pump in the lake that keeps the water fresh and moving.
That's when the excavator broke through.
A crew spent much of the day trying to pull it back out.
