Ex-Viking Reportedly Sued For $375K Strip Club Tab
BALTIMORE, My. (WCCO) -- Former Vikings player Bryant McKinnie is reportedly being sued by rapper Trick Daddy's father for racking up an approximately $375,000 tab at various south Florida strip clubs.
The football player, currently tackle for the Baltimore Ravens, is the subject of a lawsuit filed by Charles "Pop" Young, who reports say credited McKinnie the amount between February 2009 and September 2010.
As reported by CBS Sports, McKinnie allegedly promised to pay Young back but still hasn't.
However, McKinnie released a statement about the report, saying "I got no papers, I was never served. I just called my lawyer about this because this is a bogus story.
"People can put anything out there," McKinnie continued. "What strip club gives you a $375,000 tab? It just sounds stupid to me. I've never heard of this in my life. This is bogus to me. For it to be even reported is stupid to me."
CBS Sports reports McKinnie was originally supposed to make a base salary of $3.2 million before agreeing to take a $1 million pay cut before the season.
CBS Sports also reports McKinnie's wages also are being garnished this season for $4.5 million that he owed for a loan that he took out during the lockout.
