Ex-Firefighter Pleads Guilty To Conspiring To Distribute Cocaine
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 34-year-old former Minneapolis firefighter has pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine.
Brandon Josiha Granger entered his plea Monday before United States District Judge John R. Tunheim. He was indicted on Dec. 12, 2011.
In Granger's plea agreement, he admitted that from October 2009 through Oct. 12, 2011 he conspired with others to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five or more kilograms of cocaine. He specifically admitted that during the course of the conspiracy, he trafficked between 15 and 50 kilograms of cocaine.
Granger could face up to life in prison.
His sentence will be determined by Judge Tunheim at a future hearing.
