MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) --Yesterday I did a story about Target selling fresh Christmas trees. Christmas in a box, shipped to your door, no haggling with the parking lot vendor, no struggle to get the tree onto and off your car and into your home without losing a few branches. Target has made a brand of offering quality and style at an affordable package. What's next for the big red bulls eye?
Why not preschool classes at Target.com? Cyber church services for a fee? Camping vacations fully booked and outfitted with Target's latest? Concerts at Target headquarters that subscribers can pay to tune into? Target TV? The Target lifestyle channel?
Will it one day be possible to purchase everything you need or want from Target? Perhaps one day we will all move seamlessly from home, to work, to school, to Target or of course Target.com without ever venturing anywhere else. Or wait, maybe I already do.
