Delta Jet Makes Emergency Landing In Rochester
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A flight from Tampa Bay to Minneapolis was forced to make an emergency landing in Rochester, Minn. after pilots reported having engine trouble.
Leslie Parker, of Delta Airlines, said the pilots decided to divert the plane to the Rochester airport around 4:10 p.m. They were able to make a safe landing and no one was injured.
Maintenance is checking the plane, but Delta said they won't wait for another flight. Instead, they are busing passengers to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Those who miss their flights will be rerouted and provided with vouchers.
