Emergency Closure On Hwy 52 In St. Paul
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation said motorists can expect delays Wednesday and Thursday on Highway 52 in St. Paul because of an emergency road repair.
MnDOT said the northbound roadway of Hwy. 52, also known as Lafayette Freeway, will be closed between Concord Boulevard and Interstate 94 for a shoulder repair.
Closures go from 7 p.m. Wednesday, to 7 p.m. Thursday.
MnDOT said the inside concrete shoulder is deteriorating, as it is being used as a lane while construction work has been happening on Hwy. 52.
They ask drivers to use alternative routes and follow detours on Highway 61 to get to I-94.
