Email Threat Puts Minn. State Mankato On Alert
MANKATO, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota State, Mankato has sent a safety alert to students and faculty following an unspecified threatening email.
Campus security and Mankato Department of Public Safety investigators aren't releasing details about the threat. But MSU spokesman Michael Cooper says it doesn't say anything about "why or where."
The Free Press reports the alert was issued about noon Tuesday. The alert says the school has increased security on campus and is asking that any suspicious activity be reported to campus security, especially during the next 48 hours.
