Elon Musk Expected To Detail Mars Mission & Settlement Tuesday
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Are we ready to settle down on the red planet? Plans are going to be announced Tuesday about creating a permanent settlement on Mars.
Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Motors, is going to talk about his ideas for establishing a livable, self-sustainable city on Mars within the next 10 years.
One of the ideas is the "Mars Colonial Transporter", a massive new rocket and spaceship that could deliver 100 people to the Red Planet.
