Eden Prairie Mudslide House Demolished
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A home that was too close to a dangerous mudslide in Eden Prairie was torn down Tuesday.
The Zurn family was evacuated from their home off Burr Ridge Lane after heavy rains over the weekend created an 80-foot ravine in the back of the house.
Before the mudslide, the city of Eden Prairie was working to repair the neighborhood's storm-water sewer system.
Officials say the house isn't safe to live in and couldn't be saved.
