E. Coli Closes Lakeville Beach
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota beach is closed after tests showed high bacteria levels.
The City of Lakeville detected high levels of E. Coli Friday at Valley Lake beach.
The city is re-testing the water every day, but they won't reopen the beach until it's safe for public swimming.
To help keep bacteria levels low, the city urges people not to feed the geese or ducks and to keep pets off the beach, and have young children wear swim diapers.
