During February Snowstorm Minnesotans Hunker Down, Take To Twitter
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It has arrived.
Just as predicted, a snowstorm moved into southern Minnesota mid-morning Tuesday. Just before noon flakes began to fall in the metro.
WCCO Meteorologist Matt Brickman said four to eight inches is expected in the metro area and southern Minnesota could see as much as a foot of snow.
Many schools canceled classes and after school activities, while cities readied for snow emergencies.
And as Minnesotans began to hunker down, they of course turned to Twitter.
