Driver Injured After Rear-Ending Plow On I-94
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A driver was hospitalized Monday morning after rear-ending a snow plow on Interstate 94 in the northwest metro.
The State Patrol says the collision happened in the interstate's westbound lanes near Monticello shortly after 8 a.m.
Paul Boynton, 55, of Shorewood, was driving a Ford van and slammed into the back of a plow that was treating the road.
Officials say Boynton suffered serious injuries and was transported to Monticello Hospital.
The driver of the plow – 47-year-old Brad Vance of Buffalo – was not injured.
