Driver Goes Into Swamp, Flips Car In Vadnais Heights
VADNAIS HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police say a 46-year-old man was driving the wrong way on Vadnais Boulevard, crashed into a swamp and flipped his car.
According to authorities, the man became stuck in the vehicle, near Rice Street, and needed assistance getting out. The Ramsey County Water Patrol deputy in the area responded to the scene, quickly got into a wet suit and was able to extricate the man from his vehicle.
Police say the incident occurred around 8:10 p.m.
The Vadnais Heights Fire Department assisted on the scene.
The man was transported to Regions Hospital in unknown condition.
