Driver, 45, Killed After Car Goes Off-Road, Hits Trees In Central Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 45-year-old driver died Monday afternoon in central Minnesota after his car went off-road and collided with a street sign and several trees.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened around 3:42 p.m. on eastbound Highway 23, near Richmond. Killed was Brad Grunig of St. Cloud. He was the only person in the car.
Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
