DQ Hero To Meet With Warren Buffett
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Hopkins teenager is headed to Omaha Friday after an invitation from Warren Buffett.
The second richest man in America called the Dairy Queen on Main Street in Hopkins after hearing about employee Joey Prusak.
Last September, Prusak saw a woman steal $20 from a blind customer. After the woman denied taking the money, Prusak gave the man money from his own pocket.
Now he will attend the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting on behalf of Dairy Queen, and meet with Warren Buffett.
"Right now, I probably have about a hundred questions that I'd like to ask him, but I don't think I'll get the time to ask all of them," Prusak said. "So I think I might just ask him, 'Hey, I don't have the money right now to open my Dairy Queen, would you want to invest in me?'"
During his trip to Omaha, Prusak was also asked to speak at a special education class at a local high school.
They wrote him a letter, calling him the "King of Kindness."
