Downtown Mpls Businesses Bracing For No Wolves
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- With the possibility of NO NBA season, many downtown Minneapolis businesses are bracing for a winter with no Timberwolves action -- and less customers coming through their doors.
Brock Mortensen is one of the managers at Keiran's Irish Pub, which is right across the street from Target Center.
"It does bring in, obviously, the Wednesday night crowd ... that helped us out. But, I mean, there was some excitement drawn to this year with Rubio, which is now kind of a downer," said Mortensen.

Mortensen said they have not had to reduce staff however, and says they expect to be OK if there is no season.
