'Double Dog Dare' Rappelling In St. Paul For Charity
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Ever felt like rappelling down the side of a building just to say you did it? The Ecolab building in downtown St. Paul is giving people that chance on Friday, and it's for charity.
Ecolab and the Boy Scouts of America are hosting "Double Dog Dare," and event to bring awareness to scouting. As many as 75 volunteers have raised $1,000 each for the event, and the money will go back to the Boy Scouts to help support youth programs.
The money will also go towards camps, scholarships, uniforms and other resources for the Boy Scouts of America.
People who want to try rappelling can do so in downtown St. Paul starting at 9 a.m.
