Don't Get Your Hopes Up, The Warmth Won't Last
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Following a week filled with subzero temperatures, Minnesotans woke up Sunday morning to see the mercury climb into the fifties.
But the warmth looks to be short-lived.
Forecaster Kylie Bearse says temperatures will drop throughout the day. Measurable snow could also fall on extreme eastern Minnesota overnight following heavy rain. Wind gusts during the evening hours could be as strong as 40 mph.
The metro doesn't look to see much snow. Still, the overnight freeze could mean a slippery start to the Monday morning commute.
Looking ahead, the Thanksgiving forecast appears to be dry, but cold.
The Turkey Day high? Sixteen degrees.
