Dog Protects Missing Toddler From Thunderstorm
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- They say a dog is a man's best friend, and that was definitely true for one dog and a toddler who went missing in North Dakota.
Three-year-old Carson Urness was found about a mile from the family's farm in Cooperstown. He was gone for nearly six hours.
When authorities found him, the family's dog was lying on top of the boy, shielding him from a thunderstorm.
The boy was not injured. His parents said they believe he wandered off while playing outside.
