DNR: Bear Hunting Licenses Available To Buy On Monday
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Bear hunters looking to get a license for the season ahead that haven't already purchased one have their chance on Monday.
The Minnesota Department of Natural resources said Friday that licenses that weren't purchased from the lottery drawing will be available starting at noon Monday. They can be purchased at any DNR licensing agent, the DNR License Center in St. Paul or on the Minnesota DNR web site.
Since bear hunting permits vary by management units, a list of the licenses available is on the DNR web site.
This year's lottery resulted in 6,000 licenses that were available in 11 areas. The hunters selected in the lottery had to buy their licenses by Aug. 1.
