DeRusha Eats: Hazel's Northeast
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two brothers in their 30s are carrying on a legacy started by their grandmother more than 50 years ago. Now their northeast Minneapolis restaurant is celebrating its third birthday.
This week in DeRusha Eats, Jason checked out Hazel's Northeast. One of their signature dishes is a meat waffle. The Sieve brothers grew up together in a restaurant, so it shouldn't be a big surprise that they now own a restaurant together.
Adam and Andrew Sieve are now celebrating their third year at the restaurant. The brothers briefly left the restaurant industry, but the business never left them. Hazel's Northeast is one of the few Minneapolis restaurants that offers breakfast seven days a week.
