Another Chance To Own A Piece Of Hecker

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Even after five auctions there are still a lot of Denny Hecker's possessions to be auctioned off, according to Fred Radde and Sons auction house in New Germany.
"Well this one isn't as luxurious as the past have been, but we still have a couple of Rolex watches, another 30 golf clubs here," said Fred Radde. "We've got a fur coat so we have some interesting pieces."
The items were recovered by a bankruptcy trustee, during a surprise raid on Denny Hecker's house in December.
There are some unusual items as well, such as a family of black bears made of bronze and a statue of the Peanuts cartoon character Linus Van Pelt holding a car.
Radde says Hecker's name brings a lot of people in the door "because his name was on buses and wherever else."
The auction items also include a Chanel ring 58-year-old Hecker gave to his new wife Christi Rowan-Hecker.
Hecker is serving a 10-year prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud.
The latest auction is planned for June 20 at 5 p.m. at the auction house in New Germany. Proceeds go toward Hecker's restitution.
