Denny Hecker Moved To SW Pennsylvania
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Denny Hecker has found a new home behind bars.
The one-time Minnesota auto giant who's serving a 10-year prison sentence for fraud is currently imprisoned in Loretto, Penn., located about 80 miles east of Pittsburgh.
Hecker was found guilty last year of defrauding auto lenders out of millions of dollars. He was first sentenced to spend that time at the minimum security prison camp in Duluth.
But in February, Hecker was moved to a prison in Wisconsin, then to Indiana, and then Oklahoma City before landing in Pennsylvania. Sources have told us one reason for the move was abuse of cell phone rules.
