Denny Hecker Moved To Pennsylvania Prison
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – For the fifth time in four months, fallen auto mogul Denny Hecker has been switched to another prison.
Hecker, 59, was recently moved to the U.S. Penitentiary in Canaan, Pa. The facility is a high-security prison with only male inmates. Hecker had previously been serving time at a facility in Oklahoma City.
Hecker was sentenced to 10 years in prison in February 2011 as the result of a high profile fraud case. He went from the Sherburne County Jail to the Federal Prison Camp in Duluth. He was then moved to prisons in Wisconsin and Indiana before most recently being sent to Oklahoma City.
The facility in Canaan that he is now at is in northeastern Pennsylvania, about 20 miles east of Scranton and more than 130 miles north of Philadelphia.
